Green River Wheated Bourbon

Age: 5 to 7-years About the product: How do you make the world's best bourbon even better? Release it at full proof! Green River Wheated Full Proof is a small batch of select barrels, blended and bottled at barrel strength, and offers a robust expression of the World's Best Bourbon. Each batch will vary slightly in proof depending on the blend of the barrels. Tasting Notes: Green River Wheated Full Proof balances rich caramel and tangerine with cinnamon and vanilla creme. The hallmark soft wheat finish is bolstered by rich, full-proof flavor.

Seelbach's Notes: The nose is dense and full. Think heavy demerara syrup with smoked vanilla and leather notes, moving into light florals, honey-dipped fig and strawberry, and warm brioche. The palate is dark, rich, and mature, opening with coating vanilla and dark maple syrup before moving into deeper barrel char notes with plenty of dried cherry, a melon-like nectariness (but darker than MGP), and just a kiss of toasted oak. The finish continues to surprise, drawing out effervescent blueberry and strawberry basil wrapped in brown sugar, lingering with tobacco, leather, semi-sweet chocolate, and a root beer float note on the long finish.
