By creating an account or using Wolf's Whiskey Wall ("the Service," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 21 years of age (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction) to use this Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. The Service is intended for adults in the United States (or of legal drinking age where you live) for personal, non-commercial use. Public marketing pages include their copy in the HTML and a blocking date-of-birth dialog (MM/DD/YYYY — month, day, and year, not a simple checkbox) until this browser affirms legal drinking age. Account, collection, sign-in, and API routes are not available until that affirmation (or a valid session). Registration requires the same affirmation plus acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. After you create an account, you may be signed in immediately and use free core features before confirming your email; Pro features require a confirmed email (see Section 4). The age gate is a self-attestation soft gate for an informational product; it is not government ID verification and does not replace age-verification duties that apply to licensed alcohol sellers or shippers. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where the age requirement is not met.
Wolf's Whiskey Wall does not sell, ship, deliver, or arrange delivery of alcoholic beverages. We are not a licensed retailer, wholesaler, or manufacturer. The Service is a personal collection tracker and informational price reference. Any purchase of alcohol occurs solely between you and independently operated third-party retailers. Linking to a retailer does not make us a party to that transaction.
The Service offers a free tier and an optional paid Pro subscription. Pro is billed at $5 per month after an introductory first month of $0.99 when that offer is available at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe. You can cancel anytime in the Stripe Customer Portal (Manage billing in Account Settings); cancellation stops future renewals according to Stripe’s billing cycle. Pro fees are for software features only (for example alerts, export, deeper history, and higher scan quotas as described on the pricing page) — not for alcohol sales. Starting Pro checkout and using Pro-only features require a confirmed email address.
Refunds. If you are not satisfied with Pro, you may request a full refund of your most recent paid Pro charge within 14 days of your Pro subscription start date (the date Stripe records as the subscription start). We process that refund through Stripe on the original payment method and cancel Pro immediately, so Pro access ends when the refund is processed. After the 14-day window, refunds are not available, but you can still cancel future renewals in Manage billing. Request a refund from Account Settings while Pro is active, or email joeyrd03@gmail.com. We do not refund alcohol purchases you make with third-party retailers.
Referrals. If you start Pro from a personal referral link, your first month is free instead of $0.99. The $0.99 intro does not also apply. The person who invited you receives one free month of Pro after your first paid renewal invoice succeeds. That reward is withheld if you cancel during the free month, and it is reversed if that first paid invoice is fully refunded. Rewards are limited to five per referrer per UTC month, once per new account, and are not paid for self-referral.

Market prices displayed in the Service are scraped on a scheduled basis from independently operated third-party retailers and are provided for informational and personal tracking purposes only. Prices may be outdated, inaccurate, mismatched by fuzzy catalog matching, or unavailable. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of price data.
As of the last update of these Terms, the active default scrape set is the 26 retailers named in the Privacy Policy (Spec's Wine & Spirits, Caskers, Seelbach's, Wooden Cork, SipWhiskey, SharedPour, Cask Cartel, Quality Liquor Store, Bottle Barn, Keg N Bottle, Uptown Spirits, Mission Liquor, Wine Chateau, CraftShack, Nestor Liquor, ReserveBar, Ace Spirits, Flaviar, LiquorVerse, Sipsy, Total Bourbon, Liquor Boutique, Bottle Broz, Barrel Shoppe, Kentucky Bourbon Direct, and Hi-Time Wine Cellars). Candidate or experimental sources described in the Privacy Policy are not part of that default set until they ship. The catalog of sources may expand; the Privacy Policy lists the current live set.
Portfolio valuations and unrealized gain/loss figures shown on your dashboard are estimates based on scraped data. These figures do not constitute financial advice and should not be used to make purchasing, selling, or investment decisions. Nothing on the Service is medical, health, or wellness advice about alcohol.
When you submit a new bottle to the catalog via the "Expand the Database" feature, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that submission within the Service. You represent that your submission is accurate and does not infringe any third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove or modify any catalog entry.
If you rate a bottle in your collection, you may submit category scores and a written comment. Ratings and comments are visible to other signed-in users on that bottle’s review feed (showing your username, Overall score, and comment; category sub-scores may be shown on hover or focus). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the Service. You agree not to post defamatory, harassing, spam, or unlawful content; not to make health, medical, or curative claims about alcohol; and not to use reviews to promote illegal sales. Reviews reflect personal opinions only and are not endorsed by us. We may edit, hide, or remove reviews that violate these Terms or our content guidelines.
When you use Scan bottle, you may scan a barcode or upload/capture a photo of a whiskey label. Barcode decoding happens on your device; we receive only the barcode digits for catalog lookup. For label photos, you grant us a limited license to transmit that image to our vision provider solely to extract label text and suggest catalog matches. Photos are processed ephemerally and are not retained as a user photo gallery. Matches (barcode or AI) may be inaccurate; you must confirm any match before adding a bottle to your collection. Do not upload images of minors, illegal content, or material unrelated to whiskey identification. Automated label-photo scan limits apply to prevent abuse.
All application code, design, and original content of the Service is owned by Wolf's Whiskey Wall. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Whiskey brand names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners; their appearance in the catalog is for identification purposes only.
Price data is collected from independently operated retailers. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any retailer listed in the Service. Brand names and trademarks remain the property of their owners and appear for identification only. Linking to a retailer does not constitute a recommendation or warranty of their products, pricing, shipping, age-verification practices, or availability, and does not make us a party to any sale of alcohol.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to reliance on price data, portfolio valuations, or collection information displayed therein.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting joeyrd03@gmail.com.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Subject to applicable law, you and we agree that state or federal courts located in Michigan are a proper forum for disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Nothing in these Terms makes us a Michigan liquor licensee. We do not sell or deliver alcohol; Michigan Liquor Control Commission age-verification rules that apply to sellers and shippers (for example MCL 436.1203 for certain sales and deliveries) are not converted into a claim that this informational Service performs licensed ID verification.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we post revisions.
